Returns are accepted and refunds given on new unopened items within 30 days of receiving the item. If you would like to return your new and unopened/unused item or would like to know if the item is returnable, simply contact us using the "Contact Us" page on our website. If you feel your item is defective we recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly as most issues can be solved over the phone or by email. The manufacturer will provide you with return instructions on items that must be sent in for repair or replacement.
All returns to Walnut Creek Outdoors or the Manufacturer must have an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number or they will not be accepted. We are not responsible for returning unauthorized items or replacing lost items.
Please note all bow, crossbow, firearm, and ammunition sales are final. If buying a firearm online and having it shipped to your FFL dealer, please inspect the firearm before making the transfer. If you make the transfer you are accepting the firearm in the condition in which it was received and the firearm is not returnable under any circumstance. Manufacturing defects are handled directly by the manufacturer. Should a manufacturing defect be found, please contact the manufacturer directly for instructions on how to process the defect. Firearms that must be returned to Walnut Creek Outdoor before they are transferred to the end user are assessed a $50 processing/handling fee in addition to collection of shipping expenses.

Customer service is very important to us so we have developed this thorough returns policy to insure customer fairness and satisfaction. After all we want our customers to be happy so they return to us for future purchases. We allow returns for new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price. Items should be returned in their original product packaging and/or tags attached if applicable. We only pay the return shipping costs if the return/exchange is a result of our error. Please contact us and we will assist you with the returns process and acquiring an RMA number. No return will be accepted without an RMA number. The RMA number is good for 10 days after issue.
Returns are processed in the order in which they were received. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (4 to 7 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days) to your account. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Partial refunds may be issued for unopened items that are returned more than 30 days after delivery, any item that has obvious signs of use, and/or any item not returned in the condition it was received. Extended returns, refunds, and refund amounts for items returned after 30 days is offered at the sole discretion of our company.
The items being purchased are new and being sold by a professional dealer however even brand new items sometimes have defects. Typically items found defective are exchanged and processed directly through the manufacturer. The manufacturer, not us, has requested that all customer service concerns should go through them for quality control purposes. Walnut Creek Outdoors will help coordinate any service requests between the buyer and the manufacturer as needed. We will process the defect returns only if the requested by the manufacturer to improve the customer experience. All returns to Walnut Creek Outdoors or the Manufacturer must have an RMA number or they will not be accepted. We are not responsible for returning unauthorized items or replacing lost items.
Returned items that claim to be new, unused, and/or unopened that are return to us, but in fact have been opened will be assessed a 50% restocking fee (or more depending on condition) as the item cannot be resold as new. These items are charged this restocking fee because they are required to be resold as a used item at used prices. Clam shell packaging on recoil pads and other items that can be opened and closed without breaking a factory seal or showing signs of entry/use are accepted as new, unopened items. Each item returned is thoroughly inspected for signs that it has been opened or used (be honest up front, we can tell if an item has been opened). If your item is determined to have been used or the factory seals are broken and you decide you want to keep the item, we will not pay to have the item shipped back to you. You, the buyer, will have to pay the additional shipping. Bottom line, BE HONEST and if in doubt about your item, please call or email us first.
FREE SHIPPING NOTICE: ***When an item is purchased with free shipping and is returned, the customer refund will be given minus a restocking fee and the original shipping cost as shipping expenses are not recoverable.***
We must charge a restocking fee on returned items to cover many cost involved in the process. The restock fee is no less than $2.00 (or 10% of item price whichever is higher) and can be up to 50% depending on the item and the condition in which it was returned. Any item returned in such poor condition that it cannot be covered by a restocking fee of 50% would be discarded and no refund will be processed. All restocking fees are waived if the return was a result of error/mistake (wrong item sent, item not as described) on our part.
Opened DVDs can only be returned for exchange in cases of defect, damage or if the item was different than described and a replacement will be provided. Please contact us to arrange for the exchange.
Any new bows purchased are not returnable for refund or exchange. Please do your homework before purchasing to make sure the bow is right for you or the person you are purchasing it for. We can't allow returns for the bows because of the amount of customization that can be done and the potential to dry fire the bow without our knowledge. In-store purchases follow these same rules. Once you walk out the door with the bow it is yours. All new bows are covered by the manufacturer's warranty should any factory defect be found. Again, we do not allow the return of bows purchased. If purchase locally, the bow can be traded for a different model but it must be inspected by our bow technicians to have a value placed on the trade.

You are responsible for knowing what items are prohibited and restricted by your countries customs department. Please check with your country's customs office if you are unaware of such prohibitions and restrictions before buying. If items are seized by customs, we are not responsible. We understand international shipping takes additional time to reach our customer so we make every effort to ship your item within 72 hours of receiving your payment.
We only offer USPS Priority Express Mail International® shipping service on most items (some items because of box size must ship USPS Priority Mail International regardless). Please select this option for the most reliable international service. We ship a great deal of packages internationally and we highly value our international customers. We offer the Express service because this is the most reliable method in delivering your order on time and in good quality.
- Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
- Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
- Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges.
- We won't under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws.
- All International sales are final with no warranty by us. We do not allow refunds or exchanges on International sales. Please also check with the manufacturer as some do not offer a Manufacturer Warranty on items sold to locations outside the United States.
