Best Shotgun Combo Out There for the Money

Posted by Devin O'Hara on Dec 14th 2019

This is the second 835 that I have owned, and the worst decision I ever made was to sell the first one. As soon as I sold that gun, I regretted it and wanted it back. I finally decided to get a new shotgun, and I had no doubts it would be the 835. So far, I have only fired the gun with the slug barrel on it. The accuracy is fantastic, once you find a slug it likes, and the recoil is manageable with the raised cheek-piece and soft butt pad. I have no doubts that the smooth bore barrel with the turkey choke will be accurate. The last 835 I owned would pattern well enough to kill turkeys at 70 yards. For the money, it is really hard to beat the reliability and functionality of these shotguns.
